We take good care of reflecting on each place and audience we perform for.
If there is a special theme to your party or event we adapt our creations to it so it can enhance what you have been working on!It is is even possible to create one performance especially for the occasion with a couple of options you can chose like the lights, costumes, number of performers...
Our performances last 10 to 20 minutes max.
It is interactive, meaning : we work on finding playful ways to connect with the audience and make them feel part of it!
Our style is very authentic!
Except if we feel like it : we don’t try to make spectacular moves. What we work on is to dig deep into our personal stories, how we feel about them and express it in a way that can touch you!Our performances are improvised so we never know exactly the moves that going to come up in the moment BUTthe settings, the stories and the quality of each of our characters is rehearsed with precision.

Lucie Baudon
Director and dance performer
French with Greek roots, Lucie has been passionate about dance improvisation and human relationships from a young age.Autodidact, she always had in her heart and mind the project of creating dance shows. She followed her intuition and natural interest to gather knowledge and experience to make it happen.
Among other things, she has been especially inspired by :
- Pina Bausch for her theatrical approach of dance. Where you can sense that dancers are really going through a process and are not just dancing a role
- Ohad Naharin for his way of directing and teaching that respects dancer’s natural groove. Dancers of his company look very alive, present and each of them keep a strong identity within the group
- Butoh, a Japanese contemporary dance that emphasizes on slowness, presence and on the beauty of our darkness
-Circling, a relational meditative practice that focus on how we are naturally with people, our environment and life in the moment.

Chiara de Leuuw
Dance performer
Chiara has been captivated by the worlds of movement, sound and rhythm since childhood. Dance and music are not only her greatest outlets, but guiding companions through life. While dance competitions and fixed choreographies marked her past, recent times see her exploring improvisational dance and belly dancing. Two forms that deepen her connection to body, intuition and inner sensuality.
This new approach to dance has opened her eyes, placing trust in her instincts, and embracing newfound freedom and creativity. It expanded her understanding of dance and expression.
For Chiara, dance is more than expression; it’s a bridge connecting and uniting people. A powerful tool for spreading love and understanding. Through movements, energy and rhythm, she seeks to explore her inner world while forging meaningful connections with others.

Inger van den Berg
Dance performer
Inger is enjoying dancing and creating dances since childhood. Alone, or with friends, she performed on the stage of the campside, school parties, wherever she could.
She followed classes in various styles: from Streetdance and Hip Hop for a long time, to Rock 'n & Roll,Lindy hop, to years of Afromix Dance.
3 years ago she discovered Ecstatic Dance and since one year she dived into Improvisation dance and experiences this more "free dancing" as a kind of therapy. Free dancing for her is ultimate happiness, play, being led by movement, a way to express, use sensitivity and to connect. It allows her to connect with- and express emotions on a deep level, and this enables her to transform the emotions at the same time.
She loves to use dance as a way to connect people's different worlds of experiences. And is looking forward to creating together with Kosmonauts! :D

Riemer de Lange
Stage Technician
I am a dedicated supporter of The Kosmonauts dance group. I’ve had the privilege of attending every performance and am constantly inspired by their every time unique way of storytelling. Each show brings something new and unexpected, with emotions and themes highlighting different sides of dance and life.As I am also exploring the world of performance and have started performing myself, The Kosmonauts inspire me to dive deeper into this art form. I’m happy to contribute by helping with small but essential tasks like music and tech. To me, dance represents freedom, connection, self-expression, and joy—exactly what The Kosmonauts bring to life in every performance. It’s an honor to be part of this group that puts so much passion, authenticity, and creativity into their work.
